Incoming Leaders
The Free Methodist Church is committed to raising up new leaders within the church that seek to build new congregations, grow ministries that impact communities, and train the next generation of leaders serving with them.

As a teenager, I was very insecure, lost, confused, and starved for love and attention. I had developed a reputation of being the class clown and pridefully teased my teachers and other classmates. I was very rude, disrespectful, demeaning and had a very bad attitude. In reality, I felt fearful, lonely, unhappy and dissatisfied with myself. When I was 16 years old, our family hosted a group of Christian missionaries in our home. I saw the genuineness of their faith, the humble confidence, and sincere love and passion that emanated from this group of Spirit-filled young adults. I observed this privately in our home and during their public events. Their love for Jesus and deep joy became attractive to me. It drew me in and I wanted what they had. I realized how sad, dissatisfied, unfulfilled, and angry I was at the time and their light broke into my darkness and despair. As a result, I repented and surrendered my heart to Jesus Christ and his light, joy, and power began to fill my life. I made a decision to follow Christ. That decision has forever changed the trajectory of my life.
How did the Spirit guide you to your current ministry and what has God called you to do through your ministry?
